Why a daily about results nobody clicks

Zero Click Daily starts today. What we cover, how we check it, and who owns us.

Search used to end with a click. For a growing share of queries it now ends on the results page: an AI Overview, an AI Mode answer, a ChatGPT reply with three footnotes, a Perplexity summary. The sites those answers draw from get read by a machine and, often, never visited by a person.

Zero Click Daily is about that gap. We report what the answers say, which pages they cite, how the citations change week to week, and what the sites being cited see in their own numbers.

What a Zero Click Daily article looks like

Every article names the engine, the date and the exact query. If we say an AI Overview cited a page, we say which Overview, on which day, for which search, and we keep the screenshot. If we quote a share or a count, we say where it came from and how it was measured. Where the only evidence is one answer, we say it is one answer.

We write in plain words for people who run websites and have watched a traffic chart bend. We do not write for search engines, and we do not pad.

What we will not do

We will not invent a trend from a single screenshot. We will not call a tool the best anything without a method a reader can repeat. When an article discusses a company our publisher has a stake in, the article says so at the top.

Who publishes this

Zero Click Daily is published by Good Standing Media, which runs a group of news and review sites about software, marketing technology and AI search.
